Here we go again....

Usually George Will's column really grinds my grits. But occasionally he says something of value: Police overreach in the name of fighting terrorism - The Washington Post

It seems that the LAPD has put themselves on the front line of inderdicting photographers.

Hopefully the photographer's video record of the deputy threatening him with extra-judicial sanctions will go a long way in this case. This crap needs to be stopped. Unfortunately it's gonna take someone losing at a local, state and federal district level in order to get the issue before the Supreme Court before the government stomp on these gestapo wanna-be's.

police breaking the law, violating constitutional rights and civil liberties, and the general militarization of our police forces is the real 'terror' threat in this nation. it has been for many years. what will it take before we put a stop to it? police officers in communist china are friendlier, more helpful and less dangerous than what we unleash onto the streets to 'protect and serve'. its disgusting. its disturbing. its disgraceful.
