Actually, there are fine points being made as the objection to Obama's plan in part is that he funded portions of it via reductions in Medicare.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul doesn't sit well with these folks. They'd rather rob both Peter and Paul if the two were government programs, and cut their taxes if they were corporations

When asked about this later, Santorum said....."it isn't his job to tell people they or wrong or tell them what to think."
So why do they debate or run TV ads or attack the President or his policies if not to tell people what to think or at least how to vote?

Otherwise the ads would simply be "This November vote or not "

I could see why Santorum lost big time in his home state. In the November 7, 2006 election, Santorum lost by over 700,000 votes, receiving 41% of the vote to Casey's 59%, the largest margin of defeat for an incumbent senator since 1980 and the largest losing margin for an incumbent Republican senator ever.

Actually, that would be cause he never represented them in the first place. never mind the nation.

There's a few wrong corners of Pennsylvania you could find yourself in, but they're hardly an electoral majority.

Any more than Bachmann somehow represents Minneapolis or Rmney ever represented Southie. It's just not so.

Oh the irony!

Though it's slightly depressing that someone thought the red arrow was needed.

Being a "moran" is bad enough, but why do so many of them feel compelled to advertise it?

Daily Kos: Obama wants everyone's kids to go to college so they can be brainwashed, Rick Santorum says

QuoteQuote:
At the Florida venue, Santorum made the additional claim that "62 percent of children who enter college with a faith conviction leave without it." Is this one of the 81.5 percent of statistics that are made up on the spot? Because, as on so much else, Santorum is dead wrong on this.

One would presume then, that Santorum doesn't believe in the value of a post secondary education?

Rick Santorum: Left uses college for "indoctrination"

QuoteQuote:
As the saying goes, I'll defend till my death your right to believe the Earth is 6,000 years old, but, and I hate to break the news, that belief represents a disdain for science.

So, please understand Santorum here, when he says "the left uses colleges to indoctrinate", he is saying that 'the left uses colleges to teach science'.

Or, as Rick Perry said, 'Evolution is just one of those theories out there.'

Neither one of them is especially evolved....
