Those that run for election are often not the best of the best. The best...whoever that may be...often don't run. Not ready to see themselves pilloried by the press...to see misinformation spread by political opponents...or media, to deal with the constant pressure by political, industrial and special interest groups.....when it comes down to...is it worth it ?

I think ....no.

Many that do run have egos, agendas and special interests they want to promote..... to advance.

Does this help the majority of citizens. I don't think so.
