I understand Democrat Women are set to hold hearings on male reproductive issues. Covered will be mandatory rectal probes / prostate palpitations plue 48 hour 'think it over' periods before being permitted viagra and similar, and requiring the local newspapers to print lists of men prescribed these drugs. No men will be allowed to testify.
Because a woman has never unilaterally decided that their partner wasn't going to get laid on a given night no matter how much testimony is put forth on the mutual benefits.

Should sex be desired for non-procreative purposes (and said procreative purpose must be notarized and filed with the state), mandatory ******l and anal probing of the participants (according to gender) shall be performed by state licensed stafff no more than 2 hours before said intercourse. STD testing is mandatory, and should either participant be the recepient of any government hand outs, both parties must submit to a mandatory drug test. Both parties must then have a 24 hour 'cooling off' period, with cold showers every hour. Once this procedure has been witnessed by three state-appointed inspectors, the ******l/anal probing shall be performed. The parties may then engage in sexual intercourse, again with three state appointed inspectors present and witnessing the event. The parties having signed non-orgasm agreements, said inspectors shall examine both parties for compliance. Any evidence of non-compliance shall result in court summons for breach of contract and contempt of court.

How timely, we have an example of abortion getting preferential treatment in the law. Pharmacies must stock and distribute morning after pills but no other prescription drugs receive that special treatment.

Judge strikes down law mandating sale of contraception | Reuters

Emergency contraception is not 'abortion.' Even if you say Jesus says so.

I thought you were all for the 'free market?' It's not a 'free market' if religious ideologues who run the local Wal-mart control what you can buy or your doctor can prescribe.

As you can see, the 'conscience clause' foot in the door didn't stop there: now they call the *regular* pill a 'conscience issue' even if they deny prescriptions or notify parents via the government into situations *they don't care about.* There's even a state where they deny emergency contraception in *rape kits* but give rapists paternity rights and access to their victims for eighteen years.

What next? More Catholic Church ruling our lives about sex? I hate to bring it up, but they used to have too much influence over that before. You might have heard it in the news decades later, and since then.

Contraception is not abortion, and abortion is not for your churches or politicians or even companies to control, either.

It's an equal protection thing, ...you can't use your pharmacist's license to claim to be a pharmacist and then start playing theocrat.

As for 'conscience,' those don't all obey the Religious Right. Some of us have our own consciences. Contrary to what some will tell you, in *my* religion, decisions about abortion are weighty, and informed by *our* beliefs. Those beliefs don't obey your definition, or push off the responsibility onto the government or some church or some Christianist claiming to be a professional. Our consciences are our *own.*

And they wonder why I'm so good with swords and sticks.

Seriously, man, you're not making me any straighter talking like that.

Now the Utah legislators want to stop any teaching about birth control. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/utes/53570545-90/abstinence-allow-bill-education.html.csp

Honestly, is there someone in the GOP who really believes this direction nationwide is a winner for them in any nationwide election?

All governors should cave to the "Orgasm Lobby".
