Lenses are best al dente or even lens tartare.

Y'all know of course that lenses are so-called because of their shape. The LENS is named after the ancient double-convex LENTIL. Because of this inexorable connexion, all lensmen and lenswomen and lenswhatevers should eat plenty of lentil loaf. I had a great creamy sopa lentaja in Nogales a few days ago, ay yi yi. We had to fight over it.

Lensmen did you say? E.E. Doc Smith would be proud! I bet he also ate meat. Speaking of meat, the girl who lives next door had made dinner for me (which included meat) Friday, Saturday, Monday, and today. I took her out to eat Sunday.
