I voted for the 2nd option. The recent price hike will keep me from buying any new glass, but I have enough in my existing collection to keep me happy. I've desired full frame for a while now, but I'm willing to wait to see what happens when Photokina rolls around. Ideally, I'd love to see a Pentax FF, but if that's not the case, I'll transition to Nikon FX.

I'm sticking with P/P (Panasonic/Pentax).

I love my K5, its an amazing camera - so I will stay with Pentax for the body. Unfortunately Pentax has priced itself out of the market for lenses so I will be purchasing Sigma mostly from now on, or if the used prices on Pentax glass stays reasonable, I will be purchasing more used.

If the next body comes out with this outlandish price increase attached to it then I have absolutely no reason to stick around.

I run Nikon and pentax but you could say Im jumping ship. I wouldnt invest a single penny more in Pentax.
All further investment will go to expanding my Nikon system.

I have Pentax and Canon (80/20) but will likely invest into Nikon D800 in a very near future

I've switched over to the Nikon 1 system and Sony NEX; but I still have a few pieces of Pentax.

I'm willing to be patient. Currently APS-C and my range of K-mount glass suits my needs very nicely.

I wish the new '18-200' had arrived first.. but I have enough to last me a decade or so.

Slacker, I'm assuming this poll is in response to the recent Pentax lens price increase... in which case, perhaps you should specify that the poll is targeted at USA customers, since those are the only ones affected by the price hike?

I picked #2.

I'm sticking with Pentax - I would most likely never change systems. I have a couple of bags full of pretty nice glass. Pentax makes great bodies, in all sizes. Why change?

That's too funny... I would move on if I had the money... move on to a 645D.

Just terrible that the U.S. should have to pay what other countries have been paying for years. Terrible. The U.S. deserves to be privileged - hey! the U.S.A can do whatever it wants! You can't tell us what to do!

Heh.

Anyone thinking of switching systems over something like this clearly wasn't too impressed with their gear in the first place, so power to them. Less complaining around here.
