Sad news. The great ones are leaving us; Les Paul just last year, Gary Moore and now Jim. At least their legacy lives on!

I have a Marshall JVM410C and was going to fire it up and play some 70's rock in tribute but I might just record something instead now that I think of it. Mesa is another Fender variant that opened a very large door but Marshall will always be the sound of 'real' Rock for me.

I still play through a tsl122. Jim was an innovator who developed a unique sound that was often copied. Still nothing like a hand wired classic. He will be missed.

I had one and it was in the repair shop more than I had it so the shop swapped it for a JVM410C. I loved the sound of the 122 though.. unfortunately I got a lemon and it had to go.
