384 "Escape" Pakistani Max Security

Surprised there were no comments on this.
Yesterday before the Taliban started blowing up NATO targets in Afgahnistan they staged a "raid " at a Max Security prison in Pakistan and freed 384 Islamic millitants.
There was reportedly no resistance offered by the guards or prison staff.
There is speculation that it "may have been an inside job"
Not discussion worhty?

Some cluster-f*cks are just so big and complicated it's hard to formulate a response other than 'it's a cluster-f*ck!' It's not helped by the fact that there are three different groups who think they are 'running' Pakistan - Zardawi's government, the Taliban-sympathising military, and the US....

I agree! I understand the rationale of paying someone (a country) to be your friend; but paying someone to pretend to be your friend doesn't make much sense.

The best you can ever hope for is for them to pretend to be your friend if you are paying them. Either someone else will come along and offer them more, or they will decide to go on strike for higher pay.

The problem with this topic is that I immediately think of the 384 button battery used in many film SLRs, and try to make sense of the title in that context
