Trying to locate ... get this: Salisbury Part II - Uriah Heep guitar solo video.

Yeah ... you read that right! ... This is 1971 (99 % of the members must be younger than I am) and Uriah Heep released their second album : "Salisbury"
In that album, there is a mad guitar solo(s) in the song "Salisbury":

... the solo(s) start(s) at 03:18 on this recording (not really a video, unfortunately).

The guitar player must have been on some kind of .... whatever substance to play like that and .... I am looking for an actual "live" video of that being played !
A long shot, I know; I am not even sure if such a live video exists anywhere on planet Earth.

If anyone knows the whereabout of a 1970's Salisbury Part II guitar solo live video ... it would be just great!

Why? ... just because!

Good luck!

I was in my 20's in 1971 - a great time for music with a lot of great bands. Some great names as well. Uriah Heep was a character in Charles Dickens' David Copperfield.

Regards

That's a tough one to find, if it does exist!
I'm quite sure there must be a hidden video somewhere ... I just want to see the guy's hands flying on that guitar!

I was close to that ... in age ... just a bit less.

Anyway, yes there were loads of good ol'rock/progressive bands out there.
Quite a few classics emerged from that "era".

P.S.: I will have to look this Dicken's character.
