One of my parents friends in mid Ohio listened to CBC radio every night. He just found the US networks to opinionated and biased. You might be surprised how popular CBC radio is down there among the less Republican population. Republicans have even labelled the CBC "Canadian propaganda".

I wasn't thinking of radio, but yep i can see that, with a good antennae in the right spot you can get some interesting reach due to signals bouncing off the atmosphere - I used to listen to rodney on the roq (los Angeles) when i lived on top of blue mountain in Collingwood. couldn't always get it, but every once in a while it came in clear as a bell

No, KAF2 crippled mount only at this stage, but look at the bright side, it will take all the Limiteds. Imagine seeing the world with bokeh!

Actually, we already see the world with bokeh. I was told that we like pictures with bokeh, because our eyes can also only focus on one point.

I should clarify: As It Happens, on NPR radio. That's CBC, right? I listen to it often in the car, even though those fookin' Canadian accents drive me nutty.

LMAO. I like that bit of the accent. It's the "Auuchhs-ford" instead of "Oxford" that grates. :P Maybe it's just Jeff D that bugs me.

I miss Barbara Budd, too. Carol Off's voice annoys me....LOL, why do I even listen to it?
