I did see a black guy in the middle of the collage, the picture with all the signs in it, upper left! The rest must have been taken in Utah...

It's funny how people smile just before they are fired.

I do find it interesting where he buys a company, and then can legally place the entire purchase price back onto the purchased companies books. If it fails...no loss for his company, if it manages to make it, well that's where he makes his money. Look at how much money he made when Dade declared bankruptcy.

QuoteQuote:
Bain settled on a common tactic in private equity: In April 1999, it pushed Dade to borrow hundreds of millions of dollars to buy half of Bain’s shares in the company — and half of those of its investment partners. The total payout to shareholders reached $420 million — nearly as much as the purchase price for Dade. Dade then cut 367 more jobs in 1999, documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission show. With the amount of money that Dade owed to creditors and vendors at nearly $2 billion, more layoffs followed. In August of 2002, Dade filed for bankruptcy protection.

But then, I think the Romney campaign has a good sense of who will and will not be voting for him...

Call me foul but Pentax Forums now approves of Racial spewing here on the forums? This thread is not Political nor Religious and is a direct attempt to incite other members here to get involved in a pretty sensitive topic.

I'm simply writing in Ron Paul. I wish we could get a binding none of the above vote.

*Edit: HOLY CRAP! Is that Jimmy Houston in the top middle pic?

P&R is about allowing P&R discussion. This post does not strike me as offensive, just making an observation. To me, there's no race, just people. I'd be voting/supporting for a guy who does his/her job right.

Sensitive topics need to be discussed to. I do find it interesting that in all the pictures above, with all the people in it, there is one black person visible, and he is at the back of the bus, so to speak. Romney might represent a renaissance of sorts, though not a desirable one.

I don't know if it's a "better" America but it looks to be a rather small, narrow, mundane and culturally impoverished America from the one I know.

Also it would have been refreshing to see a few ugly people.

On the other side of this fence, what is it about the requirement today to show multi cultural / multi ethnic mixes of people in advertising etc? That's like political correctness... and hammering home the message.

So what's wrong with showing a bunch of Mormons - who by the way are all blond, good looking, and slim, thanks to the Scandinavian stock that the early church recruited for sister wives; when we moved to Salt Lake City in the early 80s that plus the huge broods of kids at the airport was our first impression.

Less racist than out of touch with current mores and conventions, sort of like using the wrong - out dated, but not necessarily pejorative - term for a group of people.

Actually it is spot on. It tells me exactly where he is coming from and his world view. I have to thank Mitt for his candor.

I don't think so - Simply out of touch with the demographics of the country he presumes to speak for.

Exactly. And that goes for the economics of living in that country as something other than one of its richest.
