And here I thought the days when PC weenies could wow their sheep like followers with fabricated accounts of Apple idiocy were over. What a throw back. Is this the Twilight zone or some kind of Time Warp?

They just keep repeating "Everything Apple does sucks". Even though fewer and fewer people listen to them. Kind of sad really. I guess, if it worked for you in the past, just keep doing it.

What's the most valuable company in the world again?

Wake up, it's 2012 and if you want an old computer keep what you got or just go dumpster diving. Windows 8 doesn't even support DVD drives.
Windows 8 supports DVD drives, it doesn't support DVD movie playback natively unless you upgrade.

There seems to be a comprehension issue among some people.

Why MS is dropping DVD-video playback in Win8
