The President stated in the omitted part of the earlier video interview, "what we can do is prioritize enforcement since there are limited resources and say we will not go chasing after this young man or anybody who has been acting responsibly and would otherwise qualify for legal status if the Dream Act passed..." Please point out something inconsistent from the executive order and show exactly how it is significantly different from what the President said in the omitted portion of the video, then let's talk. 'Tis so-- 'Tis not does not an interesting conversation make.

GeneV what don't understand. The President claimed in that September 2011 video he could not do what he has just done. He claimed he couldn't unilaterally on his own do what he has just done which is by executive fiat circumvent the laws on the books. What he claimed at the end of that September 2011 video was that what he could do was just not have his Justice department enforce the laws. You can spin the talking points all you want but the reality is we have a President that views himself out side his Constitutional obligations.

So that's it all you have to show Fox News doing the same thing that MSNBC routinely does is a partisan hack piece by Jon Stewart and the Daily Show that wasn't humorous or funny. Isn't that what the Daily Show featuring Jon Stewart is supposed to be a comedy show. So you are getting your "news" from a partisan shill comedy show in the tank for the Obama White House.

Go figure.

I've quoted what he said in 2011 from the end of the sentence Fox intentionally omitted from its video. I've posted the recent order. Please state specifically how those are inconsistent rather than repeating the original Fox line as though the rest of the sentence Fox deceitfully omitted did not exist. Please get past hating a particular comedian and try to point out why he is wrong.

Rico, I think the President of the United States had taken a 15 minute leave of absence at the time this executive order was executed. Therefore he had nothing to do with it, and thus continues to uphold the Constitution. The fact that his name appears as the Chief Executive, President, and Commander in Chief during that time is simply due to the complexities of amending the paperwork and because he still wanted the option to return to his job.
