Gotta love it, at the Latimore Valley Fair Grounds! I was a member of the Williams Grove Oldtimers back in my racing days, when we lived about 10 minutes from the track. Here's a link to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing....a must see for every gearhead!

This video popped up on a truck driver's forum I am a member of. The guy is one of two dudes who created the original Dwarf race cars and created what is now known as the Legends race series.

He has also built a number of scaled down cars. Check them out here: Dwarf Car Promotions | Ernie Adams Official Site

Chances are good Wayne! We live about an hour away now, but we're planning to go.

I don't get to York very often anymore. Used to hit U.S. 30 Dragway back in the day, and the yearly circle track shows when we were sprint car racing in the late '80's.

RacerX, look up Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. website is posted a few threads up by Gritz57. at the museum in May there's a show called the jalopy showdown. that's where the dirt picture is from. it's a one day show but people start showing up on thursday. there's a small swap meet - bands cars running in the dirt on saturday and the museum. it's about 10 miles from Harrisburg Pa or 20 miles from Gettysburg. look it up on youtube and I'll see you there.

As much as you could describe my living space that way, there's no way I could look at a car in pieces that way for very long.

Thanks Wayne. If I get a run up through there around that time I will try to budget some time to do so.

You might have a hard time in my shop. It is cluttered with tons of fenders, doors, hoods, engines, transmissions, rear ends, etc. Mostly early Datsun 240Z stuff. Boxes and boxes of parts, lots of stuff that I really need to go through and sell. I may never need or use some of this stuff.

Since I (semi) retired and took up trucking, I don't get home often enough or long enough to do anything in the shop anymore. I wish I was wealthy enough to not have to work a regular job anymore, or that I could figure out a way to make my passions in things automotive generate enough income so I could be home more.

Drag racing with washing machine motors?

Went up to Syracuse NY to interview Jeff "Dice" Disinger. Jeff drag races electric motorcycles. Still working through the footage, but thought that I'd share this funny story.

I got to swing a leg over one of these electric bikes soon!

FWIW, shot with the Panasonic GH2 + Pentax FA 31mm F1.8 Limited.
