Paid for the MG today.

Also took some photos to show friends, bearing in mind that i'm keeping it a secret from them until I pick it up and get it registered.

Here are the pics, designed purely to annoy and show them the car without giving any detail of what it is.

Frighteningly, despite the intentionally terrible photos one friend STILL managed to pick it correct!

Other guesses have been:
Toyota Camry
Holden Commodore SS
Toyota JZX100 Mark2
Ford Mondeo

Here's a pic of it after the registration was competed.

Still awful, but brilliant compared to the ones I posted above (that even a blind man would say looked awful)

I spent last Saturday morning at a small Porsche Club Concours in Houston, and took a couple of shots of a hot-rodded, early 911, a type of restored Porsche known as an "outlaw."

Nice image - we lived in Midland for many years, and attending the Northwood show was an annual fall ritual I enjoyed a great deal.

Jer, I was in Houston at Texas Direct Auto and while I was waiting for my new-to-me Subaru Forester they backed in a Bobby Rahal 911 RS driven at Daytona.

I love the C40! Are the rear fenders attached to the springs? As close to the wheels as they are, it makes sense, so they could move with the axle. Nice that someone rescued it instead of letting it go for scrap.

There's a pipe with a tail light on it, that's welded to the fender. If you follow the pipe towards the frame, you can see where it's welded to the frame. This truck has air bag suspension, so they can lift it up for more clearance when driving. The shackles for the springs are very close to the end of the frame.
