I had a later mid 60`s (Harry Potter to the young members) Anglia with a 1100cc engine in it. Yanked it out and dropped in a 1600cc cross-flow from a Cortina.
Driving that was entertaining to say the least. This was few years before I got my license...

Here's one you don't see every day - 1967 AMC Rebel SST. Note the "Rambler" nameplate on the front edge of the hood - that disappeared on the '68 model.

Ooh, and white on black with my fave rims. Just how I love so many cars of the period.

Yeah, these are the cars I grew up with and I love them too Tasteful styling (mostly), and real chrome bumpers that didn't stick out too far.

Good old AMC. I have some good memories with my `72 second owner AMX.

Nice Paul.

Interesting how it resembles a Plymouth Satellite or a Dodge Charger.

AMC.

The Plymouth Satellite that resembles the '67 Rebel came out in '68. Same for the Dodge Coronet. The Charger for '68 has similar design elements, but doesn't come as close as I remember.

AMC was thinking out of the box? I am sure they were with the AMX.

Cobra seen at a recent car show - not sure if it's genuine or a replica, but it's nicely done.

Here is some old-school elegance. These are two of a number of shots I took at an exhibit at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts back in February. All the cars in the exhibit were from the 1930s and limited editions or one-offs.

That Delahaye's just pretty. But I might feel like Cruella DeVille driving it.
