your wish is my command.

it's a picture of me, so don't stare too long, you may blind yourself.. he took this picture after beating me up and jumping on me, to steal my camera.

crop/resized in ACR, didn't change defaults on anything..

While my body may be telling me otherwise, in reality, age is simply a number. My number and mindset don't match up--if I didn't have to work, I'd be living my second childhood, playing with more expensive toys, of course.

A clue to my age...Nixon was President when I was born.

Okay, riddle me this Heather: I watched Nixon resign on national TV when I was 8. I will be 50 when my oldest son turns 7. My wife is expecting our first child pretty much any day now. How old am I?

42 42 42 42

Richard resigned in 1974
Your were 8
So 1974 - 8 =1966
You were born in 1966
1966+42=2008
So you are 42 years old.

I know exactly what you mean. Being 17 is even worse. By the way 18 is very young.
This reminds me of an incident. It was St. Patrick's Day Parade in NYC and
I'm with my camera past the bar with at least 5 other photographers.
After about 10 minutes this annoying cop ( I like cops) tells me it's dangerous
for me to be where I was. It was crazy because he didn't say anything
to all the other people there, like my camera wasn't big enough or I wasn't old enough.
Well I just left walk a couple blocks and was able to join the parade. Even the
cops later on didn't say a word.
Big lens, school shirt, and a domke. Should work pretty well

@Madison: I decided a few years ago on a yearly "hobby budget." In previous years it went to computers and kayaks, but this year I decided on something new. I take out "loans" against my personal savings in the beginning of the year, and then pay them back during the year.

Ok, I see that other women have decided to get into this, so I'll take my cue from Heather and get all vague and historical and stuff. Let's see...Stalin was still sending folks off to the Gulag when I was born. Oh, and I had a birthday this past Easter, and got both birthday and Easter cards from my dad in the mail the next day!
