Still, the test should display consistently on any screen. The actual colours we see might be slightly different, but the amount of difference between each tile would be the same. I guess we'd only do better or worse on uncalibrated screens if the character of the screen pushed the selected colour ranges into hues we're not quite as sensitive to.
Well, I'm not sure how much color depth you need or how calibrations might affect this, but I had the power save setting on that I use for surfing the first time: that didn't make it easier to see anything.

Brightness changes, or low colour depth would definitely affect one's ability to take this test.

I was more talking about the "natural" variation between different brands and ages of monitors.

i improved a bit my previous score : 10 (instead of 15)

Male - 19-29.

i did the test without glass this time. I guess my screen need calibration because in the green one, some square didn't fit anywhere for me !

Scored a 0. Been in the print business so seeing shades of colors is pretty normal. I'm approaching 49.

scored a perfect 0. Age range 40-49. I'm a graphic designer, so maybe that helps (critically look at design and color all the time)?

Like I said, I took it twice. Probably 1-3 minutes each time. I would think that being a designer would help, but my colleague that fancies herself as a designer scored a 58. I think that it is more tied to personality.
