Need ideas for things to do on a one day trip to Napa Valley tomorrow

I have heard a lot about this area. Would like to do some wine tasting but not something very expensive (not a wine fan anyway). What are some good places to go here and any other places nearby that I might be able to fit in a one day trip coming from Sacramento.

Napa Valley Hotel, Restaurant & Spa Resort | Auberge du Soleil

One of the best resorts in North america; probably the world.. But not just to stay there - even to visit.

You could technically use the excuse that you are there for coffee; either at the bar or the Michelin rated restraunt. But don't be suprised if that coffee costs you about ten dollars a person.

But if one can indeed afford it, it is indeed some of the best of the best - especially fo food. And btw try to be a bit ninja in getting as many pics as possible.

Over the years I've been to more than a few weddings and receptions there

If coming from the San Francisco area heading north, first hit the Domaine Chandon to learn about their bubbly made in the méthode champenoise. It's an interesting visit with a glass of bubbly at the end of the tour. After that, head over to Robert Mondavi and walk around their grounds and sip from their collection as well. Have lunch or early dinner at the Auberge du Soleil.
