Your posts are very inspirational to me. I'm not sure I've ever put as much effort into anything as you have put into your military service.

Send me a p.m. some time. I'd like to follow up with you regarding this stuff.

I just found your Afgan deployment posts. I started at the beginning, and was captivated, so ended up reading them straight through.
What an inspiration you are!
Stay out of harms way and when you get a chance post more captivating photos!

All of your postings here have been awsome in that they give people a sense of what it's really like over there. I pray that your tour is a safe one and that you and all of our military men and women return home safely. Thanks not only for the postings, but for your service as well.

Just spent 35 minutes browsing through all your pictures and captions. Amazing! I don't ever really get to see what happens over there except for a quick briefing on the news and it's never pleasant, however this is more personal to read and also why it is more enjoyable. By the way, the FOOD there looks DELICIOUS!

You have really given us a different and informative view of what it is like over there. Well shot and well captioned, a real treat for us here at PF, and no doubt greatly appreciated and admired by us all.

Still, I'll look more forward to seeing you in photos when you return and are no longer there. My youngest son was there with NATO, and it was pretty tough....even for a Lt Col...he damn near got killed just taking the Gen to the airport on one occasion, and a few with him were not so fortunate.
He is retired as of Spring a year ago, has bought a new home and has a new wife (his fourth....Army life is hard on marriages! ) and is beginning to return to the son I once knew before 22years of Army life...almost all of it overseas.

My two oldest grandsons (his sons) will soon follow his path. The oldest is currently in LDAC in Washington State, and the younger one in Airborne School in Georgia. I pray for them both....and you too, for your safe return home where will all breathe a good sigh of relief.

Best Regards!
Rupert

Thank you very much for sharing with us, and more importantly, thank you for serving. Here's hoping everyone comes home safely. We can dream can't we?

G'day from Australia....as usual, and as I have said to you before, your updates are VERY special, & give us an idea of what is REALLY happening.....unlike most of the stuff in the Press.
Unfortunately, we lost one of our S.A.S. guys over there recently.
As usual, thank you, & stay safe.
Cheers, Pickles.
