Well, she said :"we've given you people all you need to know". She's right. Probably not in the context she meant, but she's right.
I wonder what Mitt's response would be in interviewing a prospective employee for his firm if the prospect would have said "I've given you people all you need to know" in response to a question he considered of vital interest to his firm?

Re. the question of substantive discussion about policies: Apart from the mandate to install porn filters on all computers in the USA, I'm not certain what Mitt actually proposes to do. When you take some of the things he actually says it is hard to distinguish the pieces and parts from what Obama is already doing.

because Switzerland and the Caymans don't have a tithe deal with the Temple.

But otherwise, the guy does dole out a lot of charity money.

That's pretty arrogant of her I must say. Privileged is definitely the word for Romney and his wife. The more I see of him the less I like him. What a nasty man he seems to be and his wife doesn't come off as very nice either. Not exactly the likable pair, are they?
There was a segment on CNN the other day about all the Republican stalwarts who dislike Romney. He does not seem to be a likeable guy. He always reminds me of Frankenstein; the looks, the stiffness, the lack of any real emotion. Forever disconnected from humanity, no matter how much he tries to be human.

This is exactly the problem. His health care plan had about 3 degrees of separation from the ACA, and it is hard to determine what his plan is now. His economic plan is difficult to decipher, but seems to be basically the GW Bush program. He never mentions any success he had as governor. The entire pitch is about his success at Bain. How can he and his wife be surprised that the secrecy surrounding that "success" (no public corporate records, no tax returns) is not appreciated?

What about immigration? He constantly says he'll implement a permanent plan on day one, completely ignoring the fact that the President does not have the authority to unilaterraly impose this kind of law. What would his immigration law contain? Either he has no plan, or the plan is so distateful to voters that he has to keep it a secret. Along with all his other secrets. How can anyone vote for him? It's a mystery to me, along the lines of re-electing Nixon and Dubya.

Does that mean that you think President Obama's recent Executive Order changing our immigration policy without the concent of Congress is illegal in you're eyes?

The difference is permanent vs temporary. A temporary law is the only solution possible with your dysfunctional government. Romney claims he will institute a permanent law on day one, a practical impossibility because it would have to pass the house and the senate. And why no details of what the law would encompass?

Romney is just projecting. He intends to dissolve congress and rule by decree.

HAL: I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

HAL 9000: Are you sure you're making the right decision? I think we should stop.

HAL: I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
Dave: What's the problem?
HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.

HAL: Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.
