In a subsequent tweet, he invited Hanna to switch parties.

Hanna demonstrated similar disenchantment with his own party at a rally for the Equal Rights Amendment last March, where he urged attendees to give money to Democrats in order to send a message to the GOP about female voters.

Hanna is just nervous about his reelection chances. He has a very different district this time around and the mood of the state isn't as angry as it was 2 years ago. Ann Marie Buerkle isn't helping things any by spending the last two years doing nothing but attack ACA and hold hearings on Planned Parenthood.

As far as switching parties, why would the Democrats want him? He's a slimeball. But he would fit right in with the other Blue Dogs from Upstate NY.
