If a brand came out with Aperture bracketing, would it be a big deal?

What do you guys think?

Aperture bracketing is a feature I would find useful, for example for macro shooting where it can be difficult to judge the right amount of depth of field until you come home and view the images on a computer monitor. And then it is too late - you may not be able to go back out and reshoot.

I usually "run the f-stops" manually when shooting macro. There is no reason that this couldn't be automated.

I've always wanted DoF bracketing, would be Sooooooo Useful, getting the correct exposure and then 3 or 5 images with different DoF from aperature bracketting. Genius!!!

i do it once in awhile for the reason mentioned above.
a good workaround to having a formal mode is to use AE-L after selecting exposure, then thumb through aperture settings and shoot, the camera can change shutter or ISO accordingly.

That would be a wonderful idea! I have never thought about that until now, but like mentioned, I do it anyways on my manual lenses.
