next Pentax in MY DREAMS

Appearance and Design:
- Mirrorless with EVF (1x magnification, 100% field of view)
- Design and size similar to the wonderful Pentax SLR from 80s (MX, ME-Super or LX), as it has done Olympus with OM-D
- waterproof sealing

Sensor and Performance:
- 24-megapixel APS-C sensor, with color depth of 3x14bit
- 50-51200 ISO range
- -6.5 EV to 20 EV meter range (as in Pentax LX)
- Shutter Speed Range 30s-1/8000s stepless
- Green, HyP, Sv, Av, Tv, TAv, HyM, X, B as exposure modes
- Shake reduction
- video recording Super-Full-HD 4k
- Fully manual video mode
- no internal flash
- flash sync

Lens Compatibility:
- Bayonet KAF3, fully compatible also with the old M and K series, through the reintroduction of the coupling flange (deactivable mounting A, FA and DA lenses) in addition to modern electronic contacts by Pentax.
- Flange focal distance (FFD) of 45.46mm, like all Pentax SLR.
- Have a great FFD as Pentax, but without the mirror SLRs, allow the introduction of a new line of smaller and lighter lenses, as in rangefinder cameras, using Short-focus constructions which penetrate near the sensor.

New series of dedicated lenses:
- Line of compact and fast prime lenses, specifically designed for this model, with the possibility of construction Short-focus as the rangefinder.
For example: 14mm f1.4, 18mm f1.4, 24mm F0.95, 31mm F0.95, 55mm f1.4
- Thanks to the short-focus construction and the APS-C sensor, smaller than the FF, may have lenses ranging in size between the objectives Micro 4/3 and Leica Lenses.

beautiful but impossible dream I fear...

similar concept was thought by David Riesenberg for Canon:

dream on

It is only a matter of time till this dream camera comes out. The(Pentax) body is probably 18 months to 2 years. The competition should have most of the features late next year. As for the lenses, this will be achieved when curved sensors come out. Once the need for flat field is eliminated, less spherical aberration will have to be compensated for. Less elements will be required and optimum performance will be wide open. f/.95 will become common and not too expensive up to 100mm. Time will make your dreams come true. Big question is who is going to be the first to make the curved sensors and the new lens range to go with it. It will be a bold step as backward compatability will be difficult or even impossible. All the old gear -lenses, bodies, converters will become useless junk. The manufacturer in question will have some angry owners of now "old" gear to contend with, but could enjoy a near monopoly in the market until the opposition copies the technology. Interestingly, Pentax is one of the better at new lens designs.
I will add to your wish list curved sensors that have variable curvature(like some astronomical gear) to allow super fast zooms that maintain that fixed focal length quality. The sensor would be integral with the lens itself to totally eliminate dust on the sensor. Thus, normal kit will be a fisheye to 28mm equivalent and a 28-300 macro equivalent and the body. Professionals would spring in for the 300-650 f/1.4-f/3.0 zoom (450-1,000 equivalent which would still be a big, heavy and expensive beast.) Add to the dream that by then the bodies will be small and cheap, so each lens has its own body(and thus nice balance) with the grip area space containing extra memory and power.
This is the serious dream.
