Appearance and Design:
- Mirrorless with EVF (1x magnification, 100% field of view)
- Design and size similar to the wonderful Pentax SLR from 80s (MX, ME-Super or LX), as it has done Olympus with OM-D
- waterproof sealing
Sensor and Performance:
- 24-megapixel APS-C sensor, with color depth of 3x14bit
- 50-51200 ISO range
- -6.5 EV to 20 EV meter range (as in Pentax LX)
- Shutter Speed Range 30s-1/8000s stepless
- Green, HyP, Sv, Av, Tv, TAv, HyM, X, B as exposure modes
- Shake reduction
- video recording Super-Full-HD 4k
- Fully manual video mode
- no internal flash
- flash sync
Lens Compatibility:
- Bayonet KAF3, fully compatible also with the old M and K series, through the reintroduction of the coupling flange (deactivable mounting A, FA and DA lenses) in addition to modern electronic contacts by Pentax.
- Flange focal distance (FFD) of 45.46mm, like all Pentax SLR.
- Have a great FFD as Pentax, but without the mirror SLRs, allow the introduction of a new line of smaller and lighter lenses, as in rangefinder cameras, using Short-focus constructions which penetrate near the sensor.
New series of dedicated lenses:
- Line of compact and fast prime lenses, specifically designed for this model, with the possibility of construction Short-focus as the rangefinder.
For example: 14mm f1.4, 18mm f1.4, 24mm F0.95, 31mm F0.95, 55mm f1.4
- Thanks to the short-focus construction and the APS-C sensor, smaller than the FF, may have lenses ranging in size between the objectives Micro 4/3 and Leica Lenses.
beautiful but impossible dream I fear...
