Rush Limbaugh blames Obama for Hurricane Isaac

QuoteQuote:
“The National Hurricane Center, a government agency, [is] very hopeful that the hurricane gets near Tampa,” Limbaugh said early Wednesday, according to a recorded excerpt uploaded to MediaMatters.org.

But who is the National Hurricane Center, exactly? Don’t worry — Rush has you covered.

“The National Hurricane Center is Obama. The National Weather Service is part of the Commerce Department,” he says. “It’s Obama.”

Golly gosh! That suggests that President Obama could alter the weather and reverse global warming! Count on Limbaugh to cut to the nitty-gritty on vital issues.

Of course it's his fault. The storm hasn't even hit yet and LA Gov Jindal is already complaining that the feds haven't done enough.

Of course Obama did it. Don't you remember Bush and Rove did Katrina? Rove actually bombed the dykes and dikes with his flying saucer. The black and chrome invisible one with pin strips. Nagin is still out in a row boat looking for his 10,000 floaters. Just kidding about Nagin. He is now in the disaster preparation business for real. I think he is running a school bus service to Dallas about now. Stay dry.

Evidently, some of us have not heard of sarcasm and have very short or deficient memories.
Remember a thing called Katrina a few years back...

If you were paying attention in 2005, liberals accused President Bush of steering Katrina to New Orleans because too many blacks lived there. Of course, no one took them seriously at the time. Rush was illustrating absurdity by being absurd.

Just google - bush steered katrina new orleans - for a walk down memory lane.

Was that you also?

No-one but a complete moron would suggest that Bush steered Hurrican Katrina to New Orleans. 'Liberals' did not suggest such a thing. Maybe one or two nutjobs did; but they are the type of loons who think that HAARP is a noctilucent-cloud inducing government conspiracy to control the masses, or that the moon landings were faked, etc. The adjective that springs to mind to describe these people is not 'liberal'.

Did Bush give the disaster less importance than he might have? Did the Bush government neglect federal duties to maintain the flood defences? Now there you might have something.

I Googled it as well and found these that would seem to substantiate Workingdog's claim That Bush was accused of steering Kartina.

Didn't they think that scheduling the convention during the peak of hurricane season might raise the odds of getting beat out of the headlines by stormy weather just a little bit? All isn't lost however. Maybe the Carolinas will get nailed next week when the Democrats have their convention. An Eye for an Eye?

STARSEEDS AND OTHER LIGHTWORKERS

To say that we’re lightworkers is to say that we serve the Light. And to say that we serve the Light is to say that we serve the Father/Mother God, which is the Light.

And to say we serve the Father/Mother God is to say that we emulate the divine qualities. God and His/Her qualities are not different. God and love are not different; God and peace; God and integrity.

In fact it may even be true that the only way we know God is through His/Her divine qualities. I don’t know.

Sometimes to serve the Father/Mother God, we must suffer. We must put our duty as lightworkers before pride, before comfort, before gain.To call oneself a lightworker, one must be willing to put behind oneself so much that the common person values and make one’s will, body and being an instrument in the hands of the Divine. One does not do so for gain. One does so for love of the Divine.

Weather Wars and Area 51 (Parts 1 & 2)

In our exclusive interview of an Area 51 electrical engineer, a remarkable 'weather generator' war between the U.S. and Russia is revealed. Russia's 2005 hurricane attack on the U.S., and the U.S. retaliatory cold wave attack of this past winter on Russia, both represent the first large scale successes in a secret weather war that the public is being led to believe is simply 'global warming'.

He said 'liberals' accused Obama of steering the hurricane. I don't think you can use sites like the ones above to support that argument - these aren't 'liberals', they are nutjobs.

(No offence to any Starseeds or Lightworkers who may be reading!)

To be honest, Rush wasn't saying Obama was going to literally 'guide' the hurricane to Tampa - just that he thought the democrats would hope it would. And if it did, they would capitalise on it politically. Rush may be a t*sser of the highest order, but I am 100% confident that he doesn't think the President has magical voodoo power to control the weather. But hey this an article in Russia Today - they sometimes do good journalism, but they're always worth taking with a pinch of salt.

Of course when you say people said Romney was the cause of the storm, you actually mean they said he should be careful to avoid a PR disaster because of the contrast between the storm and all the hoop-la at the convention.
