The money could be put in an interest bearing escrow account. If they never release one, the money could be used to by Pentax the next time they are up for sale. That would make a heck of a headline, "Pentax Forums Buys Pentax."

Not a bad idea. Eventually 'future' Pentaxians may actually get what they ask for.
