My first serious tripod:

FOTOPRO C5I TRIPOD/MONOPOD COMBO ORANGE C5I/ORANGE

Well it is compared to the cheap and nasty $13 one I had on hand until I bought the new one .

Pentax DA 50mm 1.8 & DA L 35mm 2.4 via B&H and Adorama and saved $82 in the process. Done shopping, just waiting for Santa.

I didn't buy much. I took advantage of the Lightroom 4 deal for $79.95 at Newegg. It was a nice day, upper 40's - low 50's and I took advantage of it and took a good cruise on the Harley. Late in the day and well after the crowds had subsided, I splurged on some $3.96 Blue Ray videos and a new pair of $9.50 Wrangler jeans at Walmart. The last of the big spenders!

Midwest Photo Exchange Strobist® Lighting Seminar DVD Box Set
Midwest Photo Exchange Strobist® Lighting in Layers DVD box set

I figured that for $50 each, they'd be worth trying out.

Also snagged a new PSE 7 for $1.99. I found it in the back with a bunch of clearance software marked down from $79.99 to $19.99 and when I took it to the scanner, it rang up $1.99.
Not bad at all, I'll have something to give my sister for Christmas. (shh, just don't tell her how much it cost )

Wow, that's a great buy! Especially when you look at it from that perspective.
