"Chick Fil-A"? Is that meant to be English? They should try for trademark protection in France, and see how far they get!
It's USA english! (sorry guys ) Two great countries separated by a common language.
Anyway sound like some mass murder meal to me, gross. I'm having a friend for diner.

Monster Cable is possibly the worst for this nonsense, Starbucks is another.

I avoid both, no Chick-Fil-A here bit they are added to my list.
Whats wrong with Starbucks other than high priced bad coffee? I have a pet name for them that is NSFW.

Anyone here old enough to remember the computer type-in game called Zork? The New York Times went after them after they named a newspaper in the game New Zork Times.
Which Zork game was it? One of the text based ones or one of the newer graphical games?

The text ones were impossible.. stupid thief.. even if you killed him he would come back later.

The lawsuit happened after the text versions were released but long before the graphical versions. Yes, the thief was a PITA.

Ask Homer. I think he and I are about the same age.

I have to tell you that us northern brits read the name as Chick Filler and make an association with the male reproductive appendage, as in

Hey girl, come her and get a look at my chick filler.

It make my boys and me laugh all the time.

The other one that gets us cracked up is Darby's as we think their sign looks a like a full set, you know, a cock and balls.

Not taking the mickey here, we love the USA

Trademark bullying: Shut your kale-hole | The Economist

Chick-Fil-A is trying to force Bo Muller-Moore of Vermont to stop selling "Eat More Kale" t-shirts because they claim the phrase infringes upon their "Eat Mor Chikin" slogan. Seems they have also gone after slogans as innocuous as "Eat More Produce" or "Eat More Goat" more than 30 times.
If the t-shirts featured a photo of, say, a cauliflower saying "Eat mor kayle" then Chick-Fil-A would likely have a case. Seems like a waste of resources for them to pursue this matter. But I guess the corporate lawyers have to justify their presence on the payroll.

It was popular during the age of Atari 800 and Commadore C64 computers. There were no graphics, it was all type in, and wait for a response.
