Where are the after Christmas Sales?

I'm really surprised not to see much in the way of after Christmas sales and deals. Looking for goodies for my new K-30 and not really finding anything. Thought there might be some deals close to the Black Friday sales .... Not!

I agree. I was hoping to maybe pick up a K-5 ii if the price had been similar to what was offered Black Friday, but there is nothing being offered of Pentax, let alone anything that has my attention. The K-x lives on....

There are usually some good deals popping up in late January-Febuary. By March, prices seem to jump up right around when folks start getting their tax refunds. According to the news today, this holiday season was a poor one for retail sales so there might be some deals popping up mid winter. If a product is selling, don't expect much in the way of a sale.

Over here (UK) a lot of discounting was going on before Xmas already, so the sales aren't going to offer much further price reductions, except maybe seasonal stuff like clothes.
