If you could go anywhere in the world to photograph a place that you've never been and you only had one day (24 hours) to shoot, where would you go?

Just curious mostly to see where/what people would come up with.....
For me,my list:
Being a Canadian, these days it would be Gwai Haanas NP (Queen Charlotte Islands) on the northwest coast of Canada from sunrise to sunset.
That or Easter Island to catch the Moaii at sunrise/sunset.
Volcanoes, ice and Northern lights in Iceland is on the list as well.
Anyone else have a 24 hour wishlist? .

I'm going on the next open season to Everest, but...

Just going there would not effectively fit in the timeframe. Just flying into Lukla Airfield is an adventure all in itself. Plus most people simply could not make it to the first base station on Everest in one day

Well besides the airport issue... Up to the second base camp height isn't much of a factor. There are even guided tour up to that second base camp; and also ones where the climber doesn't have to carry anything. There was a person that had a similiar issue with heights thaat made it well beyond the second base camp - no issues, except for perhaps lack of air

One small problem- fly in to Lukla and you will not be able to acclimatize fast enough and will have headaches among other ills.
Some great wilderness spots in Tasmania that could yield some great photos over 24 hours. Dare say thye decision depends on what you like to shoot.

Only one place on my "bucket list" - Yosemite National Park

Monument Valley. But out of the 24 hours there might be three of really good light - for the remaining 13 or so hours of sunlight pray for a really good storm and distant cumulonimbus clouds. Do tracking star shooting at night unpolluted.

It has to be the right 24 hours.

I would like to go to Dubai to do some indoor skiing then hit the world's largest mall after going up Burj Khalifa , the world's tallest building. I would stay at Burj al-Arab, the world's only 7 star hotel.

Africa for a safari shoot or Easter Island as well. Both are also on my bucket list and I’m planning to do both in the next couple years.
