Wow, great photos in this thread, and great watches! But why is this in the General Talk instead of one of the photo forums?

Took this shot in an old building, where I had some free time to kill. Watch on old windowsill. Was testing the M 28mm which I had just gotten. Near wide open aperture, I think. Watch is a little worn

New daily replacing the Citizen chronograph ratwatch several pages back. Was lucky to get the end of year run out sale and score at half price.

I have to look for a photo of my watch, will post it when I find it. But I just have to say that larry's Nomos is an absolute beauty. If I could I would totally get one, but Nomos is rather pricy, even second hand.

With all these beautiful watches, I'm embarrassed to show my Mickey Mouse watch, literally!

I have several watches, among my favorites is my mother-in-law's watch that is approximately 70 years old, and still runs great! I'm getting a Citizen's Eco-Drive, at the end of the month.

Meanwhile, just my Mickey Mouse watch. This is a collector's item, as very few had Mickey with a tophat & white gloves.

Otron. An early 'affordable' LCD quartz made/assembled 1976 in South Korea. Was originally purchased in the UK for the equiv. of approx. 125USD. This would be just over 400USD today. Very well made stainless steel case/band and so I'm told by a relative, the original owner, contains a Swiss movement. Appears to be about 3/4 seconds fast per month. Not bad at all and I suspect could be made more accurate properly regulated.

Local jewelry store had Pulsars on sale for 60% off (getting rid of older models). I bought this for $60. Looks really nice in real life. It's a good "wear to work" watch since the price was right. I'm really digging the dive watch look.

interesting thread....I don't wear a watch. They seem to stop when I wear them. Tried a variety of brands...last was Rolex...dardest thing, and just like the cheapo timex I wore as a kid: stops dead on my wrist within a few hours...take it off and lay it on the bureau and it runs fine....makes no sense to me and thus I gave up.

Lots of sharp watches here though....
I don't find anything interesting in it. I am also not a regular user of watch but i love to collect monster watches as like those watches i used to wear when i go to any party or marriage occasions. The above pictures shared are one from my collection.

Here's the perfect combo for a photography site:

Spy Watch

Name: Watch.jpg
Views: 331
Size: 114.9 KB

Takes pictures and HD video and only costs $49! I'm tempted to buy one just to play with it. James Bond, eat your heart out!

BTW: I should add that I ran across this while looking for security cameras. I am not a spy!
