I haven't shown a watch in a while. Some new additions.

Sent my SMPc to the AD boutique to send to Omega to see if I can get my watch covered by warranty. The AD at first wanted $650 for the bezel and another $100 for the installation if warranty will not cover it. This warranty has about 6 months left of life out of 3 years.

What I do like is it being an ECO DRIVE I never have to change batteries or anything like that.

Excuse my ignorence, but what is an "eco drive"? I only work with mechanical watches.

The face of the watch is a solar panel that converts any light to electricity which is stored in a capacitor in the watch. These watches tend to go forever as long as they have some source of light.

IMHO, you should buy a watch if you want to know the time - anything else is almost irreverent!

And that certainly includes "vanity" purchases!

If you want to know the time, look at your phone. Watches are more of a fashion statement these days, or a collectors item. You wear one because you like the way it looks. That goes especially to those automatic watches, cause they aren't that good at telling the time.
