Watches?! Haha! You hit one of my passions!
One hell of a shot!

I think I need to look for some sort of fabric...

My main problem is to find a place I can put my watch on/find a way to make it stand properly. The leather isn't strong enough, but also too stiff around the corners. Mh. I need to get creative, I guess...

The watch I wear pretty much every day, for 1 1/2 years now. It's a Jacob Jensen Dimension 843. The metal casing has some blemishes, but the glass is impeccable. Goes to show that a relatively inexpensive watch can be made of high quality materials. I'm also a big fan of the details. The design is full of tiny, almost impossible to see details, visible only under certain angles and light, and it's all rather subtle. Like the way the hands are cut and made so they reflect light in a certain way.

I've built the "studio" from paper, and lit it with my smartphone.

I’m not a watch collector (yet), but I definitely appreciate them.

I tend to go back and forth between my Seiko Samurai and my Islander (micro brand with Seiko movement).

MTM Silencer in brushed stainless. The alarm vibrates. Can't hear the beep from other watch alarms. It reminds me to take my pill at 3PM. I have a whole drawer full of other watched that I no longer wear.

I'm not really a collector, but always had an interest in watches. I have a particular fondness for Tag Heuer, largely because of their motorsport heritage. I'm currently wearing this Monza Chrono.

This is my Formula One Gulf Edition. It's stood up well to daily wear for many years, including being knocked about whilst working on cars and engines in the garage - more than once I've had to chip of a bit of welding splatter

My watch is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Air King Date. My wife gave it to me, as her engagement gift, about 34 years ago. I've had it cleaned once and the crystal replaced (my fault) and it has been as reliable as the old saying goes...'as a Swiss watch'.

I treasure it because it was a wonderful gift from my very wonderful wife.
Update....as of 2023....I've had my Rolex for 40 years....and it still is ticking along quite well. During the day, it is always on my wrist. When I had it serviced awhile ago, I had it valued. It has appreciated quite well since the original purchase of 1983.

I've had offers to sell it, but it will go to my son, when I cast off this mortal coil.

The latest addition to my Tag stable is this Aquaracer 300. It's now become my daily wearer.
