A common theme among the discussion here has been how the rules were vague and kept changing. I remember reading the rules when the contest was announced, then re-reading them to be sure I had a good idea what the whole thing was about.
Almost immediately there were myriad questions about one detail or another. And even though there were some details that may have been presented more clearly, for the most part the premise of the contest was pretty much cut and dried.
And when this thread was opened for the voting it stated very clearly that we could "vote for three".
In the posts by those who have chosen to divulge their choices, many seem to have chosen 4, 5 and 6 in their ballots. I noticed as I was selecting my choices that the poll did not limit me to just 3. Indeed there are many very nice submissions, and after selecting the ones that appealed to me the most, I had to go back through and deselect choices I had made until there were only 3.
My point here is that with all this fuss about the vague rules, it appears that many members have missed the line that states that they can vote for 3 submissions. And if so many people missed that one basic "rule", I can see how so many of them can get to this point in the game and feel that they have been short changed.
Again, I am not complaining, simply making an observation.
So, SlickYamaha, is there a way to weed out the extra votes fairly without too much bother?
