I don't think it's fair some people are reporting their votes !
I think it's fine as part of the discussion. Anyone who wants to vote before reading all of these pages is free to do so, and I'm geniunely interested in what other people selected and what their criteria was (which will probably be forgotten if everyone waited until the voting had closed). Not all voting needs to be secret...

There are over 1000 votes so far, the few that are posted here won't sway it too much

A common theme among the discussion here has been how the rules were vague and kept changing. I remember reading the rules when the contest was announced, then re-reading them to be sure I had a good idea what the whole thing was about.

Almost immediately there were myriad questions about one detail or another. And even though there were some details that may have been presented more clearly, for the most part the premise of the contest was pretty much cut and dried.

And when this thread was opened for the voting it stated very clearly that we could "vote for three".

In the posts by those who have chosen to divulge their choices, many seem to have chosen 4, 5 and 6 in their ballots. I noticed as I was selecting my choices that the poll did not limit me to just 3. Indeed there are many very nice submissions, and after selecting the ones that appealed to me the most, I had to go back through and deselect choices I had made until there were only 3.

My point here is that with all this fuss about the vague rules, it appears that many members have missed the line that states that they can vote for 3 submissions. And if so many people missed that one basic "rule", I can see how so many of them can get to this point in the game and feel that they have been short changed.

Again, I am not complaining, simply making an observation.

So, SlickYamaha, is there a way to weed out the extra votes fairly without too much bother?

Furthermore, because the winning design will used for shirts meant to represent PentaxForums.com, the site staff will have the final say in who wins the competition. The winner of the competition may or may not be the same as the winner of this poll.

The winning shirt is now 70 votes ahead!!
So I take it the staffs favorite also happens to be the peoples favorite, at the moment at least... Cool
Great contest, a lot of fun really... and so many great entries to choose from. Pentaxians have vision that's for sure.

I set the poll to only allow for three votes. You may be able to select five or six, but you are only allowed to be able to submit three. If people have successfully voted more than three times, then there may be a glitch, but I highly, highly doubt it. Thanks for the tip though

Actually, the winning one is not the one I selected, but I will say the next two runners up behind it are two out of three of my votes! I must share the same good taste as other members!

Some may just be giving their favorites, which is more than the three for which we can actually vote. The intent is probably just to give a little priase to the designers they liked, even if they couldn't vote for all of them.

All you Whinners can have your shirts printed on-line and try and sell them in the forum. Then you will see if they past the mustard.
There are some great shirts posted and I doubt anything else could beat these.

I didn't submit a design, but cannot see the images, at home or at work. Now tried it on 4 different computers in two different locations. The only images which appear are #29 and #98.

Why would those two be different than the others, especially across all these various platforms, computers, network locations? I guess maybe I'm the only one with this problem, but hard to see how that is the case, since I've tried it so many places. Tomorrow, I'll try a friend's MAC at work.

All I wanna do is vote!
I guess I can choose between the two visible to me.

You can always just pick 3 numbers between 1 and 100.

Just kidding!

I occasionally run into image display issues, not just at this forum, but on others as well. If I clear the cache, update the browser, and clear the temporary files it seems to clear up the problem.

Good luck!

Thank you, Racer X! I had tried all those. Interestingly, about 30 minutes after I posted my message above, I came back to PF and I could see all 99 images! Yay!!!

Then, I went home and everything appears there as well. Whether mysterious forces of the universe united or the NSA Internet-bit-trap was just a little clogged, I now can see everything after two or three days of trying. Thank you, forces of the universe!

I've had the same problem, but finally was able to see them to vote.
