playstation 2 wireless control

hi guys. Way off topic here but I know there have to be some young gamers here that can help. My son got. PS2 from an uncle for Xmas, it came with 2 wire controllers. Well that was no big deal until I bought a nice new 40" tv. Now I prefer him a little further away. I see a bunch of unit on eekbay and want to make sure I get the right ones. So can anyone point me in the right direction or suggest any to avoid. I know we should get PS3 but hey, he is 7 and we don't let him play much and I want K20 or Bigma

amazon is probably a better place to look for feedback on the various options. i've always had good luck with madcatz.

plus a trip to wally world may reveal some bargains. madcatz is good....but one other thought--i got on ebay, and i think wally world has them too, extension cables to just make the ps2 cables like another 10 feet longer. under 5 bucks per, and a lot more reliable than wireless-plus no batteries to deal with

True, I just got extension cables for my ps2 as the cheaper wireless controllers often have lag problems. Also, extention cables never run out of batteries

I got my boy a good quality Logitech wireless controller for his PS2, no lag and feels just like the original ps2 controllers. He likes it.

I've had this controller for about 2 years now...I like it, it's pretty good. Not perfect, but what is?
