Missing seller?

I responded to a PF Marketplace ad early Friday morning. Seller had no feedback but had 20 posts which all looked legit. I processed payment for the lens via Paypal and have heard nothing back from the seller. I have sent several PM's to him but no response. How long should I wait before initiating some type of claim via Paypal?

It's the weekend and the seller may have had plans that preclude computer access. I wouldn't get overly concerned until Monday.

Did you send as GIFT or normal payment? The latter should protect you from the scam and I would wait until end of Monday to fill a claim.

Thanks everyone. I did pay as regular Paypal..not gift. Will give him till EOD Monday. First time I've ever had a problem with a PF Marletplace sale.

I'm sure he'll end up replying, otherwise you're just going to get your money back from paypal!

All's well. Lens has shipped. Just poor communication.
