Right now, with 47 contributions, it's looking much like a normal distribution, with only a little dip in the 45-49 segment. Maybe there's a small bias toward the upper end, but lumping all the over-65s together possibly adds that appearance (you do know that 60 is the new 40, don't you?).

Numbers have a habit of running out where age is concerned.

Define "older".
It's relative, and you can rely on your relatives to tell you. For myself, I rely on Groucho Marx's definition.

In decimal, I'm 37.

In hexadecimal, I'm 25.

In octal, I'm 45.

And in binary, I'm 100101.

I think the 45-49'ers are busy having a mid-life crisis.

So, have you been suffering SDM problems, like so many other 16-50s?

Funny that you would ask that... thinking back.. my focusing used to be fast and accurate, not so much any more.
Now it takes couple tries to get things to wake up and working. Sucks to have run out of warranty

And you figure that out-of-warranty repairs are not worth it?

Better hope that your significant other doesn't share that sentiment, and decides to "upgrade" to a faster prime...

Hell, the lens is fine. It is just the processor and the case that are failing.
