Its sort of funny though when people fuss about men's "mid life crisis's". Frankly its the first time, for many men, when we aren't spending the vast majority of our money on other people (notably our children). So a little slack might be in order for a guy who's wanted a convertible or a Harley his whole life but couldn't afford it because he was putting the needs of his family first.
Amen to all that! After a "not so small" fortune is spent on raising kids...then a large fortune on sending them to college, we deserve a little bonus...if there is anything left to give it to us!
My uncle used to complain that life is upside down. When we are young, raising kids and struggling, we need lots of money but don't have it. When we are old and have few expenses, we have lots of cash but are too old and worn out to enjoy it like we could have all those many years ago.
Not complaining here, I have everything I want, can't think of a thing I don't have or couldn't get if I wanted. Life has been good, but it has been a struggle at times. You young guys, hang in there, it can get better if you stay the course!
Regards!
