that made me sick.... but then again he can do whatever he wants to his nikon (if it were a pentax id send him a death threat). if he can afford to abuse equipment then all the best to him, I envy (to a certain degree) his ability to be able to afford to do that.

I would certainly not do that to my camera even if it's advertised to be military-grade. Only people with too much money and free time to do such a thing. And it's also a good way to brag about your D3 on youtube.

I wonder if its even really a d3. Its not like you ever get a good shot of the camera. Also he doesn't pick it up in frames and turn it on to show it working. High likelyhood of BS IMHO.

He has quite a lot of other videoes, and claim to be a photography student.

Watched a few of his videoes, and he is totally retarded (I'm allowed to say that, right? I mean, he is a Nikon-user AND he is basically molesting the poor camera).

Just take a look...

"How does the D3 withstand my gastric acid?" should be the next. I'll gladly help him.

I checked some other videos listed there and found one of a guy showing off the frame rate. The funny part is he said he would not do very long bursts because he wanted to keep his shutter in good condition for next year's sports. If you spend $5000 on a camera you should be able to expect that camera to do all the burst shooting you want.

I get frustrated when I see people with so much money that they don't respect their tools. The D3 is made to take the abuse of hard shooting, not the abuse of college students that misspend their grant money. I guess I am just jealous because I have had to scrape for everything I have had in my life.

It makes me sick to my stomach what he does in those videos. I watch the one where he drops the camera... my heart stopped. This is what happens when people have too much money on their hands and wants to show off.
