There once was.

You could search threads about the arrival of K10D's. The Victoria member, got theirs a bout 1/2 week ahead of mine from the same chain, because that branch gets shipped direct, rather than to vancouver and out to the branches.

I can only wish. I heard it is a very nice place to live and retire (at least in Canada anyway). I wish I can connect to someone and start buying some properties there for retirement.

A bit too late now anyway. My nephew who lives out there had his comp. system down over the weekend - just when I needed him to check-out some Pentax equipment in a classified add.

Doesn't it suck sometimes!!?

Might want to wait till they clean up their act:
"Raw sewage laced with hundreds of deadly toxins is dumped at a rate of 5 million litres an hour into waters just off Victoria’s harbour. It is injected from two one-meter wide pipes 65 meters under the surface by twin 1000 horsepower motors. It is unseen. No one thinks much about it. But it kills. Some marine organisms die outright. Others will die young. Juveniles are most at risk."
visit Victoria Sewage Alliance: Sewage Treatment for Victoria - Secondary or Better for details. They've been dumping raw sewage into the Straight of Juan de Fuca for decades.
