I am a bit surprised myself also. I promised myself I would not sell my K-5 until it breaks. Promised myself this only because I have been on a upgrading spree before I got my K-5, had a K2000 to K-7 to K-5. The K-5 is understandable of why it would be wise not to upgrade due to it's great low noise at high iso and decent AF as well as solid build quality. The K-7 and K2000 I had, I was not happy with the noise levels and especially the AF on the K2000. The K-5 is more than just good enough, I won't ever understand why people will upgrade it so soon to a K-5ii or a K-50 when it can be used for at least a couple more years before being somewhat of an outdated.
