The Galaxy S4 with a thin neoprene cover is unbeatable. The only other one I would consi9der at the moment is the G4 by LG.

Thanks for all your recommendations. Has anyone used the IR blasters with their DSLR as this is one of the things which is drawing me towards the HTC one. I think it may be useful for time lapses etc.

Otherwise I can't see all that there is enough of a difference between the Nexus 5 and HTC one/ Galaxy S4 to justify the £100+ extra for them.

I will definitely choose Samsung Note 3 or Galaxy S4 if I were you.

I have a quad-core international version HTC One X. I adore this phone. Probably WAY too much!

How does the One X compare to the One? Is it a step up or a step down?

The One X is, confusingly, the One's predecessor. The US version featured a handicapped dual core processor. Mine is an unlocked international phone with a 1.5ghz quad core processor & amp 1gb RAM. By comparison, the One has a 1.7ghz processor & 2gb ram.

I agree. Sense UI is the best Android UI overlay out there within all the android phones.
Everything are within easy to reach, unconfusing, logical arrangement as compare to the confusing touchwiz.
Sense UI will give first time android user easier time to pickup how to use or work everything on android over other android UI even better than the base android system.

Hi does anyone know a good shop in the Uk to buy a phone from for a reasonable price. I'm trying to buy sim-free but don't know whether to trust the online shops I've seen on google.

Thanks

While I think the Iphone are great I would suggest you check out the Galaxy S4 first. Find a store that lets you platy with the phone to see if it fits your hand nicely and check out each manufacturers app list to make sure what you want is available. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the higher end phones that came out last year. Watch out for companies trying to lure you in with a free phone!
