I see almost all the major retailers have their Black Friday Adds out. People keep saying there will be some great photographic deals on Black Friday but where are they? Will they not be known until Black Friday without any previous advertising? Anyone with previous experience?

As far as Black Friday deals for Pentax gear that is specifically posted on this forum, there are no advance ads in the past couple years. The sales usually start at 00:01 hours on Friday and will be found in the Price Watch section.

We will post the deals on the homepage and in the price watch section as soon as they go live. All I can say is that there will be some very big savings on cameras and lenses this year, just like last year. Stay tuned!

What is this "Black Friday" thing? Thanksgiving happened a month ago.... back in October...

Another point I should have added to my post above - these deals typically last through Monday. They are not the type that some B&M stores where they have a very limited quantity of the specially priced items. Of course our vendors' stock isn't unlimited, but for most items you usually have at least 36 hours to grab something.
