I see they've blocked the Ventures classic 1965 Christmas album I posted,
however all the songs seem to be available separately on youtube.
BTW this now 50 year-old album was just reissued in a 2 CD set featuring stereo and original mono mixes.

Here's the new classic 'Tis the Season for Los Straightjackets, another wonderful Christmas album from 2002.
It's done very much in the same style, a kind of tip-of-the Mexican wrestling mask tribute to The Ventures.

A favorite of mine is God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, a mashup of the title song, Pipeline and the solo from Runaway.

Happy holidays to all, whether you celebrate or not!

Thanks for starting a nice thread. Too bad about those that hate Christmas or the music; why do they read a thread with this title?

I've become a big fan of Mannheim Steamrollers Christmas albums:

There are particular Christmas songs I get tired of, but generally I like to hear the full range of it, from traditional, to pop, to the most off-beat and funniest novelty songs. The rock-and-roll band Rotary Connection had a great Christmas album of original songs and uniquely arranged favorites. I have it on vinyl. Don't know if exists in a digital form.
