I guess it will be from me, Merry Christmas from the far North or up and over, or what do you call us Northern Hemisphere folk?

As for the pool after lunch, I think not, it would possibly involve shovelling snow and cracking ice prior to dip.

You have a beautiful country but Christmas in July might not make the grade for me.

It's been quite awhile for me so I may need an instruction manual as well. I just hope that my heart will hold out.

Merry Christmas to you all. It's 0900 on Xmas Day and I'm in bed in an interstate hotel. Best I get up and start the drive home before the wife wonders where I am.

Gentle drizzling rain in Sydney, so much for my planned morning drive in the Blue Mountains along Bells Line of Road with the MX-5 roof down and the K-5 at the ready. But at least the heat of earlier in the week has gone making the prospect of a barbecue lunch more pleasant.

Best wishes to everyone for the holiday season, wherever you are.
