Wait you are supposed to get stuff you really asked for?

I did get a new Samsung 10.1 tablet I gave myself.....

I did get some very useful items to wear but no one ever listens when I drop hints like K3, K5IIs, look at this lens......

None the less it is a good day, everyone enjoy the day, your family that is what it is all about..... Merry Christmas

Back in November, I got a K-3 (with 18-135 lens plus the new HD WR 55-300 lens) from my father as an early Christmas/50th birthday present. (He gave it to me early because I want to practise with it a lot before Mr frogoutofwater and I go to Borneo on holiday.)

The coolest "gift" I actually experienced in the last 24 hours was having a cardinal ride around on my head while I was volunteering at the Wild Bird Fund on Christmas eve. I'm actually looking forward to cleaning out the songbird room today because there's a chance I'll get to hang out with him again.

A memory card and a SMC 21 mm F 3.2 Limited lens. It remains unwrapped....but as soon as it's politically expedient...I will have it unwrapped and on my K-5.

Merry Xmas to all Pentaxians...also Canonites and Nikonians.

A "new to me" K-01 with 40mm xs! Thank You Santa

and one of them fancy folding ladders....the kind that extends to 17Ft, folds up to a mere 4ft for storage, and contorts into a variety of shapes and sizes.......will be handy when the Christmas lights come down in a week or two...and lots safer too.

I've been in hospital since Dec 1st, so I was thrilled when the Docs gave me a pass so I could go home for a little while this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to being out of the hospital even if I do have to come back.
