I think I'll pass on this craigslist Pentax item

Even though it has it's own "light source and stand."

Did not know what a sigmoidoscope was, or that Pentax made them, until today.

Pentax medical division is a whole other company -- the part Hoya still owns...

I'm a retired land surveyor, so I do know about Pentax surveying instruments.
Even entered a Pentax surveying photo contest, years ago, trying to win a new SF1.
Didn't win, so I bought one.

Never came across Pentax, but used to install the voice, data, and video cabling for Olympus medical equipment. Pretty cool stuff, except it was for a colonoscopy and endoscopy lab

We would need to create a new category for "Post your photos".

I've found my head there before, but never my car keys.

I have a Pentax drafting machine (for engineering drawings) - now superseded by CAD software.

I truly hope that the Pentax medical imaging devices don't suffer from mirror flops.

That could be painful.

There's a few ads that keep getting renewed often here in Atlanta... it's free to post and renew on Craigslist, so people just put overpriced stuff out there hoping some moron uninformed person will buy it.

Sounds like you may have had the pleasure of "GoLyte" prep, which definitely does not go lightly through one...
