Those who like tubed audio or HAM might like this

Here is a guy who makes his own vacuum tubes. Amazing skill. 17 minute video but I totally enjoyed it.

That's simply awesome. I've built an amp or two, including a directly heated triode 300B amp... but this simply takes the mountain and holds it!

I love valves. From a photographic perspective as well as an aural one.

It's the film-versus-digital argument that's already been done - with the advent of the transistor, tubes have not died out.
