Online streaming music services?

I've been a subscriber of Pandora on my home computer and my service just expired. They now charge 48.00 per year which is still good, but I thought before I re-upped I would get others opinions other services. I mostly listen to jazz, blues and classical. Any other service worth considering?

What about shoutcast streams? They are free and there's a huge variety out there.

I've been using the iTunes Radio and prefer it to Pandora. We have a good FM station in the area which is still my most played and of course, they stream also. If you have a taste for Alternative Rock, try them out. Home | 102.7 WEQX-FM - The Real Alternative

I use iTunes Radio. It's pretty good. Pandora was a little better, but I already pay for iTunes Match. So the radio is commercial free for me without any added cost.

I use the TuneIn radio app. I have it installed on my smart tvs and android phones. You can get local and international streaming stations - it's great!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. For the time being, I'm trying Spotify. It seems pretty good.

Okay, with my new car came a free trial of XM Satellite Radio. It was about to run out, so they gave me a nice deal for the next 6 months. 50 dollars for music in my car and it also includes streaming music on my pc. Music plus all the other stuff that XM offers. I thought it would be worth a shot for a few months. So far, I like it.

I use the free Pandora app with my iPod. Mostly comedy stations but also some profiled music stations. The commercials are a bit annoying but by comparison to the mouths of some of the djs of local terrestrial radio...

Jango...I like it better than Pandora, lots of variations, a little hard to learn the way it works, but when you do, it works great!

Regards!

It is time to revisit this; at least for me.
After a little more than a year of using the rdio music streaming service, the site was bought and closed by Pandora and I don't think I will recover easily. rdio was really, really interesting in that, it seemed to be the only online music streaming service where you could find and listen to specific music from specific artists; not just build "stations" based on a listening preferences and profile. To me, that becomes just as repetitive and tiresome at times as terrestrial FM radio.
With rdio, I could build libraries and listen to entire albums or artists and specific tracks, make playlists with specific songs. Someone please tell me there are other free sites that offer the same!
I have thousands of records, discs and digital audio files on racks and shelves and harddrives but it was nice once in a while to load up rdio, find an album I do or do not have and just listen to the precise music that I wanted to listen to, now. Not, hey, I want to listen to Pink Floyd, I'll start a Pink Floyd Station and they will play a rotation of artists they deem to be like Pink Floyd or songs that seem to fit some profile I seem to exhibit out habit and tastes. Sites like IHeartRadio, Pandora and iTunes excel in those areas and do have value, but that is not what I am looking for most often.
Does anyone know of an online music streaming service that will let you listen to entire albums of your specific choosing instead of non specific songs and artists of certain genres based on a certain listening habit?
