Flood of new members and pictures ... the K3 contest Fx

Wow!

There is such a surge of new members and postings for the Pentax K3 contest that I just can't keep up .... and that is round No. 1 "only" ?

That is the "K3Fx" (No, NOT full frame)

Edit: I am presently doing some "wasted time" compilations of those who participate in the contest just for the fun of it rather than wasting my time trying to improve my photography "skills" ...

Note: not all participants are "new" members but I see a trend in their number of posts in this forum though.

There is definitely a trend:

loads of "new" people posting for the very first time here for the simple reason that there is one heck of a great contest to win a Pentax K3.

This has also "awakened" a few members who had not posted for months or years.
The majority of the entrants have less than 20 posts.

I lost count .... but from I have gathered, the "senior" members/regular posters are very few to participate.

A blessing in disguise this Facebook ...

BTW: I have been to Bournemouth in 2005 for professional reasons.
The fog was so thick you could swear it was raining ... nope! It was "just" fog !!

I would love to see that.

How many will simply vanish once the first round is up ... how many more will disappear after round 2 ... ?
My guess: more than 75% ... but Hey! We will gain in the end.
